Clemson will get another shot at Alabama.

The Tigers beat Ohio State in Saturday’s Fiesta Bowl Playoff semifinal in Arizona, 31-0. Alabama beat Washington in the Peach Bowl semifinal earlier Saturday, so we’re left with a National Championship rematch from one year ago: Clemson against Bama, for all the marbles.

Ohio State up to #2; Clemson at #4

The Tigers were dropped from No. 2 to No. 4 in the rankings by the College Football Playoff Committee, but maintained their streak of being ranked in every CFP poll since the rankings’ inception two years ago.

Alabama – the only remaining unbeaten team from a Power 5 conference – remained No. 1,. Ohio State moved into the No. 2 spot while fellow Big 10 member Michigan, which was beaten by Iowa on Saturday, retained its position at No. 3. Washington, which was No. 4 last week, slipped to No. 6 after being upset by USC.
